Malachite bolo tie by award-winning Navajo silversmith Leroy Begay is handmade of sterling silver and genuine malachite. This is one of the most unique malachite stones I have seen with beautiful swirls of light and dark green.  Malachite bolo tie is created in Leroy's signature shadow box style. The malachite is set in a handmade sterling silver crown bezel framed with hand-cut triangle wire set over another slightly larger hand-stamped sheet of silver. The shadow box design with dark background highlights both the elegance of the silver work and beauty of the stone. The 45" 8 ply dark brown leather tie is hand-woven with a flat weave that lies nicely under the collar. Like all Leroy Begay bolo ties, the silver clasp and tips are also handmade.

  • Signed by the Artist. Certificate of Authenticity and picture of the Artist is included.
  • Dimensions: Malachite bolo tie measures 2 1/4" x 1 7/8" at the widest part; silver tips measure 2 1/2" long.
  • Length: total length = 45"
  • Weight: total weight = 109 grams/3.85 ounces
  • Malachite
  • Made in the U.S.A.
