Navajo Handmade Yeibichai Pendant by Sam Gray

Native American Pendants and Pins
YEIBICHAI PENDANT BY SAM GRAY
Navajo handmade sterling silver pendant by silversmith Sam Gray represents a Yeibichai Dancer. This beautiful pendant is of a highly polished, heavy gauge silver with attention to detail. It features an exquisite headdress which is slightly contoured with deep, hand-stamped feathers. The face is domed with a silver “gourd” in the center. The overlay design to the left of the turquoise represents lightning and rain and mountains. Liver of sulfur acid is used to burn the background silver in the overlay design and feathers black. The black will not fade, chip or peel. The bright blue turquoise is set at an angle to further enhance the unusual shape of the sterling silver handmade pendant. The pendant is approximately 1 3/4" wide at the feathers and 3 1/4" long including bail. The removable handmade bail lends versatility to the Yei-bi-chai pendant allowing the wearer of this fine piece to wear it on most chains with or without the bail or hooked onto a beaded necklace.

Signed by the Artist. Certificate of Authenticity and picture of the artist included.

Silver chain not included.
